About This Activity
Coordinate a Smokey Bear visit to a school classroom or community event. You set it up from start to finish! Select a venue and work with a local fire agency to schedule an on-site visit with their fire prevention mascot. Work with your school’s teachers to maximize Smokey’s time on site with several classes, read the story of Smokey Bear and talk to children about the importance of fire prevention.
When: fall, winter and spring months.
