Scholarship money is sent directly to the school of your choice. It can only be used on costs incurred directly from a post-high school, higher education program, for example, community college, college, university, or trade school, that are listed on the itemized tuition bill. Basically, anything that your post-high school institution directly charges you for is eligible to be covered by your Keep Oregon Green scholarship. This includes tuition, classes, activity fees, room/board, etc. We cannot send scholarship money directly to a student.
Scholarship winners are selected using predetermined judging criteria. Winners will be individually notified by email and will be required to respond to initial notification within 72 hours. Winners will typically be announced to the public 3-4 weeks after the close of the judging process. Be sure to review our Scholarship Contest Official Rules before submitting an application.
